To be honest, I was a little intimidated to go in, since it's not often that I shop in a place with such expensive merchandise. But with COVID and the store's appointment system, I had the freedom to shop in peace and quiet. Plus, Pierre was welcomin... g and friendly. As a completely non musical instrument player, shopping for an upright piano was a stressful task.  I needed to upgrade my child's digital keyboard to a real piano. Last year, I called and went to a couple piano stores in the LA area, but I was still... very clueless as to how much is a fair price for a Kawai K300 upright piano.  This year, I am determined to get one and talked to a few stores in the area. The problem is that they can only give me a ballpark number. But I just want an out the door number, including sales tax, delivery, and first tuning.  Things changed when I talked to Pierre for the first time. He was very straight forward and gave me an upfront pricing Out The Door, including sales tax, delivery and tuning. I was a little suspicious initially, because it just felt too........ easy.  The price is very competitive compared to the ballpark figure the other stores gave me.  So I decided to proceed forward with the purchase thru Pierre. I wanted a polished Mahogany, so he checked on the availability with the Kawai warehouse, and charged a little extra for the color. The other stores don't know if they can get the color and want to charge a lot more extra. The piano was delivered on the same week, and he did everything he promised. There was a minor cosmetic issue on the fallboard, Pierre called Kawai right away to resolve it. The buying experience with Pierre was very pleasant and super simple. I would highly recommend Pierre to my friends and family, or anybody who is in the market for a piano. Even though the store is not huge, but he has some impressive high end and one of a kind pianos. I am extremely glad to have stumbled into his store and to have purchased my electric piano from Pierre. He is extremely knowledgeable about pianos, so I was quickly able to find one that's right for me. He continued to provide such amazing customer ... service, helping me figure out exactly how to load and transport the instrument safely in my car. I watched tons of videos online comparing different piano models and was set on getting one of them based upon video review. I was so glad to discover this neighbo... rhood gem in time that allows me to test out the keys and tones in person. Nothing beats touch and feel especially when shopping for an instrument.
